God is doing a new thing on campus.

This fall, you and your friends on campus are preparing to be courageous and bless the people you encounter with Jesus' love. We are shifting from passive survival mode to growing in courageous love for our campuses. This devotional series will help you:

  • Grow as a courageous witness over the next 5 weeks.
  • Get an accountability partner and talk this through twice a week.
  • Meet God and be fill filled with his love in fresh ways.

What do you admire about the shepherd who goes after the lost sheep?

1 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” 3 Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. 4 Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. 6 Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:1-7 NIV)

Pray this Prayer:

"Jesus, I want to be like you. Give me your heart for the lost sheep. Show me how much you love my campus."

Jesus sends us out in 2's

Following Jesus is a team effort. Who will be your growth buddy for the next five weeks? We all need an accountability partner to grow in love and courage. We suggest you pray together twice a week.

  • Pray for hearts like the shepherd who risks all for one sheep.
  • Pray by name for your non-Christian friends.
  • Pray for a heart of courage to try new things.
